CHARLES CALVIN'S BIOGRAPHY
Age 48 , married, lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
After having a decade of metal fabricating experience for a Nascar racing team and restoration of
museum grade German Porsche automobile bodies, I returned to my home in Western North Carolina
to seek new challenges on an artistic level, shaping in a larger form items that are natural to the
region. I also find the styles and shapes of the Mid-Century appealing a time of post war
expression that seemed endless and available to all.
